about Cami
Hi there! I’m Cami – a believer, wife to my high school sweetheart, and mama to four!
I’ve been a photographer since 2007. If my younger self found out she’d end up becoming a professional photographer, I honestly think she’d laugh in disbelief. I was never the artsy, creative kid growing up. In fact, the only reason I picked up a camera was because I was forced to take an art class my senior year of high school! In college, I studied communications because I loved connecting with people. However, it was this same passion for people that made me fall in love with photography. I photographed my first wedding at the age of 19, and since then, I’ve been blessed to travel internationally and photograph over 200 weddings, families, and more.
Because of my love for people, my approach is very simple – you be you and I’ll be me. Authenticity is important to me and I want to capture what life currently looks like for you, whether you’re a bride glowing on her wedding day or you’re a mom of 3 trying to navigate through the craziness. Finding the beauty in simple, everyday moments and preserving them forever – it’s truly my passion and I’m blessed to be part of people’s lives in this way.

WEDDINGS
As a former bride, I can tell you: your wedding day will go by quickly. It truly is a blur, filled with so many emotions. I want to preserve every moment for you – from the jitters of getting ready, the emotion-filled walk down the aisle, the epic dance party, and more… I want to capture it all! But it’s not because I care about your wedding (although trust me, I do!). It’s because I truly, genuinely care about your marriage.
Life has many ups and downs. You have fun times and you’re also faced with tough challenges. There are highs and there are lows. But here’s the beautiful thing about marriage – you go through life together…all of it…the good and the bad. And after each trial and victory, you grow closer together!
My desire and goal as a wedding photographer is to preserve your wedding day for you. Years from now, no matter what season of life you may be in, I want you to look at your photos and say,
“This is where our marriage started. These are the vows we said to each other: we promised we’d love each other, in good times and in bad.”
This is the heart behind my business! I’m passionate about wedding photographer because I’m passionate about marriage.

“The days are long and the years are short.”
I remember someone explaining parenthood in this way. Although I just became a mother in 2015, I honestly can’t believe how quickly time passes. I remember the newborn phase so well… my daughter resting in my arms and life felt so quiet and content. Now I’m going through the toddler phase, and I know that in the blink of an eye, she’ll be heading off to college and walking down the aisle… and yes, I may be tearing up as I type this out!
In the middle of the craziness that parenthood can have, there is beauty and joy in it all! I don’t just like to take family photos that can end up on Pinterest – I look for the small moments, like the two second cuddle you have with your child before he takes off running or the smile he gets when you say the two magic words – “ice cream!”
Time moves quickly and it’s why I’m passionate about preserving the simple, everyday moments that often go unnoticed in your life.
